First Post & Aptonia Protein Bars

Not working today but not cycling either because it is raining booo!!

So off to gym for a hour for a spot of treadmill running amongst other things to knacker my legs out :)

Upon my return I decided to try out one of Decathlon's Aptonia Protein Bars (Vanilla and Brownies flavour), turns out they are one of the nicest recovery bars I have ever tasted! Will definately be purchasing a few more boxes later in the year for a quick bite at the end of various events (Ride London, Questars Adventure Race etc...)

Bar Stats (per bar):
162 Cals
4.9g fat (saturates 2.9g)
Carbs 19.2g (of which sugars 11.8g)
Fibre 0.8g
Protein 11.2g
Salt 0.08g

Not as much protein content as other bars (CNP for example have 18g protein) but these taste much nicer and work out cheaper per bar, plus there's nothing wrong with doubling up and scoffing 2 bars after long hard rides.

£3.69 for a box of 5 (73p per bar)
